SolitAir has announced the expansion of its African air cargo operations with the introduction of new services to Port Harcourt, Nigeria, and Hargeisa, Somaliland. These latest additions bring the carrier's total African network to 20 destinations spanning 16 countries.
The strategic move is designed to enhance connectivity between previously underserved African cargo markets and the Gulf region. All new routes will funnel through SolitAir's primary hub at Dubai World Central. The airline currently operates a fleet of seven Boeing 737-800BCF freighters and has stated plans to grow its fleet to 20 aircraft in the near future.
For freight forwarders and logistics professionals, this expansion signifies increased air cargo capacity and direct routing options for shipments to and from Nigeria and Somaliland.
