OneReg, a platform specializing in regulatory compliance for the aviation sector, has announced the appointment of Roger Gray, a seasoned aviation and infrastructure executive, as its new Chair. This leadership change occurs as the company embarks on a significant international expansion, with a particular focus on entering the European market.
The platform currently provides services to airports and airlines across several regions, including New Zealand, Australia, the Middle East, and the United Kingdom. Notable deployments include Dubai International (DXB) and Al Maktoum International (DWC) airports, alongside 25 other airport facilities.
For freight forwarders and air cargo operations managers, this development signals a potential increase in standardized regulatory compliance across more airports. As OneReg expands, it could streamline compliance processes for airlines and ground handlers, potentially leading to more efficient cargo handling and reduced delays related to regulatory checks. A more harmonized regulatory environment could simplify operational planning for air freight movements through these regions.
