KONGSBERG has officially launched its Aegir Subsea Situational Awareness (SSA) sonar product line. This new family of sonars is engineered to significantly enhance maritime security, improve safety protocols, and aid navigation by providing continuous, real-time underwater awareness. The introduction of the Aegir range, unveiled at ONS 2026 in Stavanger, marks a new generation of commercial sonar solutions. It aims to meet the growing need for comprehensive situational awareness, particularly in sensitive areas such as ports, around critical infrastructure, and along coastal regions.
