Four Dutch transport companies – SVZ Losgestort, Van der Wal Transport Heerenveen, DJK Logistics, and Schotpoort Container Transport – are set to form a strategic partnership commencing in January 2027. This collaboration will involve the integration and closer alignment of their planning and transport activities. A new central planning location in Heerenveen, specifically at Leeuwarderstraatweg 123, will manage these combined operations.
For freight forwarders and operations managers, this consolidation could lead to more streamlined road transport services within the Netherlands, particularly for routes managed by these companies. It may result in improved efficiency, potentially better capacity utilization, and more reliable scheduling for domestic shipments. The centralized planning could also simplify communication and coordination for forwarders booking services with any of these four partners.
