Qatar Airways Cargo, IAG Cargo, and MASkargo have successfully completed their first joint customer shipment, transporting 11 tonnes of copper foil across their combined networks. This achievement represents a crucial milestone in the phased implementation of their global partnership, which is expected to fully roll out later this year. The copper foil, destined for electronics manufacturing, utilized the integrated services of all three carriers.
This collaboration aims to enhance connectivity and service offerings for shippers by leveraging the extensive networks of the three airlines. For freight forwarders, this partnership is expected to provide more streamlined routing options and potentially improved transit times, especially for complex global shipments requiring multiple legs.
