DSV has officially opened a new cold chain logistics facility at Incheon International Airport (ICN) in South Korea. This strategic expansion is designed to bolster the company's AirThermoDirect network, specifically catering to the demanding requirements of pharmaceutical air freight.
The new hub features 2,000 square meters of dedicated storage maintained at a controlled temperature range of 2 to 8 degrees Celsius. A key operational advantage of this facility is its direct tarmac access, which streamlines the handling of temperature-sensitive cargo and minimizes exposure risks during transfers. The facility is equipped with advanced PharmaLogistics connections, aiming to enhance the integrity and efficiency of pharmaceutical shipments moving between South Korea, Europe, and North America.
