Capital Clean Energy Carriers Corp. (CCEC) has confirmed the delivery of the 'Alkimos', a new Handy Liquefied CO2 Multi-Gas Carrier (HMG/C). This vessel, with a capacity of 22,000 cubic meters, was constructed by HD Hyundai Samho Co., Ltd. The 'Alkimos' represents the third addition to CCEC's fleet of specialized carriers designed for transporting liquefied CO2 and other gases.
This delivery is part of CCEC's strategic expansion to meet the increasing global demand for carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) infrastructure.
