CEVA Logistics has commenced a pilot project at its Blue Hub facility in Singapore, integrating two Zelostech Z10 autonomous electric vehicles (AEVs) into its operations. These AEVs are designed to transport pallets, totes, and other inventory items between different floors within the warehouse. The primary objectives of this trial are to improve operational efficiency and significantly reduce the facility's carbon footprint.
The company anticipates that the deployment of these AEVs will lead to an annual reduction of at least 4,600 kilograms of CO2 emissions.
