Apollo Tyres has expanded its EnduMile tire series by introducing three new truck tires specifically designed for long-haul transportation. These new additions, the EnduMile LHA, LH Front, and LHD, were unveiled at the IAA Transportation 2026 event in Hannover. The launch completes Apollo Tyres' EnduMile product line for tractor-trailer applications.
According to the manufacturer, the new LHD drive axle tire demonstrated significant performance improvements during European field tests, achieving up to 20% greater mileage compared to a competitor's tire. This development aims to offer enhanced durability and efficiency for trucking operations.
For freight forwarders and logistics operators, the introduction of these new long-haul tires could translate into operational benefits. Improved tire longevity, as suggested by the mileage increase, may lead to reduced maintenance costs and less frequent tire replacements for their road transport fleets. This could also contribute to better fuel efficiency over long distances, potentially impacting overall transport costs and indirectly influencing road freight rates.
