Bahri Logistics, a division of the National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri), has announced the establishment of two new ship agency offices. These new facilities are located at Yanbu Commercial and Industrial Ports, and Ras Tanura Industrial Port. This strategic expansion complements Bahri Logistics' existing operational footprint, which already includes offices at Jubail Commercial and Industrial Ports, Ras Al-Khair Port, Jeddah Islamic Port, King Abdullah Port, and King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam.
The new Yanbu and Ras Tanura offices are designed to function as critical coordination hubs, leveraging advanced digital systems and Bahri's extensive nationwide network. The primary objective of this expansion is to accelerate port procedures and enhance operational efficiency for vessels calling at these locations.
For freight forwarders and operations managers, this expansion by Bahri Logistics signifies potentially improved vessel turnaround times and more efficient port services in Saudi Arabia. With enhanced coordination and digital integration, the processing of vessel calls, cargo documentation, and other port-related activities could become smoother. This could lead to better schedule reliability for shipments moving through these Saudi Arabian ports, reducing potential delays and improving overall supply chain predictability.
