Uzbekistan-based cargo carrier My Freighter has announced the signing of two new interline agreements, one with Air Canada and another with Singapore Airlines. These strategic partnerships are designed to extend My Freighter's global reach and enhance its service offerings.
The agreement with Singapore Airlines, in particular, grants My Freighter access to Singapore Airlines' extensive network, covering significant regions such as Southeast Asia, South Asia, East Asia, the Pacific, and Europe. This collaboration will allow cargo to be transferred seamlessly between the carriers' flights, providing more comprehensive routing solutions for shippers.
For freight forwarders and logistics professionals, these interline agreements mean increased capacity and a wider array of destinations, particularly for shipments originating from or destined for Central Asia. The expanded network access through major global carriers like Air Canada and Singapore Airlines can lead to more flexible scheduling, potentially reduced transit times, and improved reliability for air cargo movements across multiple continents. This development offers forwarders more options when planning complex international shipments, especially to and from regions previously less accessible via My Freighter's direct services.
