Oman Air Cargo has initiated a new daily Road Feeder Service (RFS) to connect Muscat, Oman, and Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This strategic road connection is designed to bolster the movement of goods between these key regional hubs. A primary benefit of this service is its ability to handle larger cargo consignments that are typically too big for narrow-body aircraft, thereby expanding the types of goods that can be transported.
For freight forwarders and logistics professionals, this development means increased flexibility and capacity for shipments moving between Oman and the UAE. It provides an alternative or complementary option to airfreight for certain cargo types, potentially reducing costs for oversized or heavier goods. The daily frequency ensures consistent transit times, which can improve supply chain predictability and reliability for clients operating in this corridor.
