CEVA Logistics is expanding its dedicated air cargo capacity on critical transpacific routes. This expansion includes the launch of a new charter service connecting Hanoi, Vietnam, directly to Chicago, USA. Additionally, the company has renewed its existing charter operation from Wuxi, China, also destined for Chicago. Both services are strategically designed to ensure stable and reliable long-haul airfreight uplift into North America, addressing the ongoing strong demand for cargo movement from Asia to the United States.
These routes leverage CEVA's Chicago gateway, which functions as a significant consolidation and distribution center, equipped with extensive freight handling capabilities. For freight forwarders and shippers, this development signifies improved capacity and potentially more predictable transit times on these key trade lanes. The introduction of controlled charter services helps mitigate some of the volatility often seen in general air cargo markets, offering a more secure option for time-sensitive or high-value shipments. This could lead to greater supply chain stability and better planning for imports into the US from Vietnam and China.
