Taylor Machine Works, a US-based manufacturer, has announced significant additions to its product line and distribution network. The company has launched three new high-capacity reachstacker models, expanding its heavy equipment offerings. Concurrently, its CVS range has been bolstered with two new 16-tonne forklift trucks, catering to diverse material handling needs.
In a strategic move to enhance its European market presence, Taylor has also appointed a new dealership in Germany. This expansion aims to improve accessibility to Taylor and CVS equipment for customers in the region.
For freight forwarders and terminal operators, these developments mean increased options for cargo handling equipment, potentially leading to improved operational efficiency and faster turnaround times at ports and intermodal facilities. The availability of new, higher-capacity reachstackers can facilitate the movement of heavier or larger containers and project cargo, while the new forklift models support general cargo and container stuffing/destuffing operations. The new German dealership is expected to streamline sales, service, and parts availability, reducing equipment downtime.
