ID Logistics, in collaboration with construction partner Heembouw, has officially broken ground on a new logistics campus located at the Medel business park in Tiel, Netherlands. The symbolic first pile for the approximately 53,000 square meter distribution center, named DC Dioli, was driven on September 30. The project is scheduled for completion in October 2027.
This new facility will significantly expand ID Logistics' warehousing and distribution capacity in the region. For freight forwarders and logistics operations managers, this new campus represents a future increase in available storage and cross-docking space in a key European logistics hub. The added capacity could lead to improved efficiency for cargo distribution within the Netherlands and potentially into neighboring European markets, offering more flexible solutions for inventory management and faster turnaround times for road freight operations.
