Port Polska, previously known as CPK, has entered into a letter of intent with the city of Kielce for the development of an intermodal rail freight terminal. This agreement signifies a key step in expanding Poland's logistics capabilities and improving its position within European freight networks. The project is part of a larger national infrastructure initiative.
For freight forwarders and logistics professionals, the establishment of this new intermodal terminal in Kielce is expected to offer enhanced routing options and potentially reduce transit times for cargo moving through Poland. It could also lead to increased rail capacity, providing an alternative to road transport and improving overall supply chain efficiency in the region.
