Manta Marine Technologies (MMT) and Foreship by RINA have entered into a framework agreement that designates MMT as the primary provider for the delivery of air lubrication technology. Under this arrangement, MMT will assume comprehensive responsibility for the Manta Air Lubrication system, which is derived from Foreship's existing and proven air lubrication system design. This strategic partnership is intended to streamline and accelerate the deployment of this energy-efficient solution within the global maritime industry.
Air lubrication systems work by creating a layer of micro-bubbles under a ship's hull, reducing frictional resistance between the hull and the water.
