KERSHIP, a collaboration between PIRIOU and Naval Group, recently launched the PETAR NJEGOS I, the initial vessel in an order of two OPV 60M offshore patrol vessels destined for the Montenegrin Navy. The launch ceremony took place at the company's Lanester shipyard in France on September 11, 2026, signifying a major achievement in the ongoing shipbuilding project.
This event is part of a broader defense procurement initiative by Montenegro to modernize its naval capabilities. The construction of these vessels contributes to KERSHIP's order book and highlights its role in specialized naval shipbuilding.
