Emirates SkyCargo recently transported two Belgian Malinois conservation dogs, named Vega and Kuda, from London to Harare, Zimbabwe. The journey involved a stopover in Dubai. These highly trained dogs are now stationed at Matusadona National Park, where they have successfully acclimatized to their new surroundings and are undergoing advanced integration training.
The initiative is a collaboration with the UK-based charity Dogs 4 Wildlife, which specializes in deploying K9 units for wildlife protection. The arrival of Vega and Kuda marks a significant enhancement to the park's anti-poaching capabilities, providing crucial support in safeguarding endangered species.
