Priority Courier Experts (PCE) has announced the acquisition of two companies, Priority Dispatch and Diamond Expedited. This strategic move is set to significantly strengthen PCE's operational capabilities and market presence across the Midwest region of the United States. The acquisition specifically targets enhancing same-day delivery services for medical, general courier, and freight needs.
The integration of these two companies brings considerable scale to PCE's operations. It adds more than 500 independent-contractor drivers and 43 employees to their team, alongside approximately 250,000 annual deliveries. This expansion covers key states including Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Michigan, allowing PCE to offer a more robust and extensive delivery network.
For freight forwarders and logistics professionals, this development indicates a potential increase in reliable same-day and expedited delivery options within the Midwest.
