Boudewijn Siemons, who serves as the CEO of the Port of Rotterdam, has been appointed to the board of the International Association of Ports and Harbours (IAPH) as the regional Vice-President for Europe. This election follows his assumption of the CEO position at Europe's largest port in 2024, after previously holding roles as interim CEO and COO within the port authority.
Prior to joining the Port of Rotterdam in 2020, Siemons gained significant experience at Royal Vopak, where he was president of the North and Latin America division. His career at Vopak also included management team roles across Europe, the Middle East, and the United States.
