South Korean logistics software provider CyberLogitec has been awarded a contract to deliver its Terminal Operating System (TOS) and a Digital Twin solution for the expansion project at Total Terminal International Algeciras (TTIA). This technological upgrade is intended to optimize the terminal's operations and improve its capacity to handle increased cargo volumes.
For freight forwarders and operations managers, the implementation of advanced TOS and Digital Twin technology at a key European transshipment hub like Algeciras could lead to improved vessel turnaround times and greater predictability in cargo flows. Enhanced operational efficiency at the terminal may contribute to better schedule reliability for carriers, potentially reducing delays for import and export shipments.
