Netherlands-based fuel supplier Verde Marine Energy BV (VME) has announced the renewal of its International Sustainability and Carbon Certification for the European Union (ISCC EU). This certification signifies VME's full compliance with the EU's RED III renewable energy directive, a crucial development for the maritime sector's decarbonization efforts.
This compliance positions VME as a certified 'Trader with Storage and Proof of Compliance Trader,' enabling the company to provide sustainable marine biofuels to shipowners, operators, charterers, and traders.
