This newly established role is designed to consolidate the company's commercial activities across its European offices, specifically in Norway, Switzerland, and Spain, under a unified leadership. Kongstein brings over 35 years of experience in the marine fuels sector, encompassing bunkering, bunker broking, oil products, and shipping. Before joining Glander in 2020 as Managing Director for its Norwegian operations, he held various senior leadership positions within the industry.
For freight forwarders and operations managers, this internal restructuring at a key bunker supplier could lead to more streamlined communication and potentially more consistent service delivery across European markets.
