A naming ceremony took place at Hanwha Ocean Co.'s Geoje Shipyard in South Korea for the Fujin Sailor, a 174,000 cubic meter (cbm) LNG carrier. This vessel is notable for being the first LNG carrier globally to incorporate a wind-assisted propulsion system (WAPS) and the first of any ship type to feature two Wind Challenger units. The Fujin Sailor is scheduled for delivery to Chevron Corporation later this month under a long-term charter agreement.
