The vessel Ikebana recently completed a port call at Royal Wagenborg's terminal in Delfzijl, Netherlands. The primary purpose of this visit was to facilitate an ownership transfer and a subsequent name change for the vessel. This operation was notable as it represented one of the largest vessel calls the port of Delfzijl has experienced.
To ensure a smooth and safe process, the operation required the use of tug assistance. Wilhelmsen Port Services, alongside other maritime partners, provided essential support during the vessel's stay at the Wagenborg terminal. For freight forwarders and operations managers, such events highlight the specialized services available at smaller, regional ports for non-containerized or project cargo, ensuring complex vessel operations can be handled efficiently with the right port and maritime support.
