The company states that this lubricant aims to help shipowners decrease fuel consumption, lower overall operating expenses, and improve the efficiency of their vessels. Laboratory tests of Aurelia FE have demonstrated a 1.5% fuel saving on a standard IMO E3 cycle, while field trials suggest even greater benefits are possible in actual operational scenarios. The product is backed by over 100,000 hours of proven service experience.
