Sixty potential buyers have come forward to acquire assets from the bankrupt Dutch bicycle manufacturer Accell Group. The company, which owns well-known brands such as Batavus, Sparta, Babboe, and Raleigh, entered bankruptcy proceedings, prompting a search for new ownership.
According to the curators' first report on the bankruptcy, bids have been submitted for both individual brands and for combinations of brands. This indicates a diverse range of strategies among the interested parties, from those seeking to cherry-pick specific valuable brands to others aiming for a broader acquisition.
