Rheinmetall's Naval Systems Division has been awarded a multi-year contract to provide comprehensive repair and maintenance services for four new LNG-fueled patrol vessels. These vessels are operated by the German Federal Customs Administration. The contract includes ongoing technical support for operational issues and scheduled maintenance, with services to be performed at berths in Lubmin, Neustadt i.H., Wilhelmshaven, and Emden.
The fleet comprises one 67-meter vessel and three 55-meter vessels. The smaller vessels were constructed at the Peene-Werft shipyard and delivered to the client last year. This contract highlights Rheinmetall's commitment to supporting its customers throughout the entire lifecycle of their maritime assets, extending beyond the initial construction phase.
