The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ) is implementing a substantial $39 million voucher program designed to accelerate the integration of zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs) into port operations. This financial incentive aims to encourage port tenants and operators to replace conventional fossil-fuel-powered equipment and trucks with electric or other zero-emission alternatives.
In parallel with the ZEV voucher program, PANYNJ will allocate an additional $5 million towards the development and installation of new charging stations.
