Nurminen Logistics, a Finnish logistics provider, has announced an expanded partnership with Italian shipping company Tarros. This collaboration extends Nurminen's direct rail service, which currently operates between Örebro, Sweden, and Parma, Italy. The enhanced intermodal offering will now provide customers with broader access to various Mediterranean destinations.
The original rail connection, established in early 2026, has been a key route for cargo movement between the Nordic region and Northern Italy. By integrating Tarros' extensive feeder network, the service will now facilitate onward sea transport from Italian ports to Southern Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East.
