German truck driver and content creator Tobias Wagner is scheduled to commence a global expedition on September 20th from the IAA Transportation event in Hannover. He will drive a Mercedes-Benz eActros 600, an electric long-haul truck, with the objective of becoming the first person to complete a world tour in a battery-electric heavy-duty vehicle.
The planned route for this ambitious journey spans approximately 45,000 kilometers and is expected to take about one year to complete. It will traverse roughly 30 countries across five continents, demonstrating the capabilities of electric trucking in diverse global conditions.
