The Lloyd's Register Maritime Decarbonisation Hub (Decarb Hub) has officially joined the Africa Sovereign Carbon Registry Foundation (ASCR Foundation) as an Observer and Strategic Advisor. James Forsdyke, Managing Director of the Decarb Hub, will represent the organization. This partnership underscores a shared commitment to fostering innovative financing solutions for climate adaptation and resilient development throughout Africa.
The collaboration will specifically target the decarbonization of maritime infrastructure and the development of blue carbon programs across the continent.
