Etihad Rail, the national railway operator of the United Arab Emirates, has officially commenced a new freight service. This rail link connects the industrial hub of Abu Dhabi with the port of Fujairah, situated on the Indian Ocean, and was developed in partnership with AD Ports Group.
This new infrastructure aims to bolster the UAE's logistics capabilities by providing a direct rail connection between key economic zones and a significant port. The initiative is part of a broader strategy to enhance multimodal transport options across the Emirates.
