Dong Fang Offshore, a Taiwanese marine services company, has placed an order with Vard, a Norwegian subsidiary of Fincantieri, for the construction of a new commissioning service operation vessel (CSOV). This latest agreement represents the fifth CSOV ordered by Dong Fang Offshore from Vard, underscoring a continued investment in its fleet. The contract for this new vessel is estimated to be worth between $76 million and $86 million.
