China Merchants Heavy Industry (CMHI) has started the construction of the first of two advanced trenching support vessels. These vessels are being built for Boskalis, a prominent Dutch dredging and heavy-lift company. The new vessel is designed to be exceptionally powerful, intended for complex subsea trenching operations.
