Babcock LGE, a marine engineering company based in Rosyth and part of Babcock International, has announced a new contract with South Korea's Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI). This agreement involves the provision of liquefied gas handling systems for four new 88,000-cubic-meter (cbm) Very Large Gas Carriers (VLGCs). The deal is expected to strengthen Babcock LGE's market position in the global liquefied gas sector.
