APM Terminals, a major global terminal operator, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Badagry Port Development Ltd and Quinn McGrath Marine and Environmental Services Ltd. This agreement initiates exclusive negotiations for the construction and operation of a new deepwater port located in Badagry, Nigeria. The move indicates a significant step forward in a long-standing project to enhance port capacity in the West African nation.
