Air France KLM Martinair Cargo has implemented a vacuum lifting aid, developed by the Swedish company LiftsAll, at its KLM Cargo Hub located at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. Following two successful trial periods, the system has been fully operational since July 13. Its primary function is to assist with pallet breakdown operations, which are typically physically demanding for cargo handlers.
This new technology is designed to significantly reduce the physical exertion required from personnel, thereby mitigating the risk of injuries and improving overall working conditions.
