These aircraft, identified by MSN 33516 (OE-IFB) and MSN 33945 (OE-IFD), have been an integral part of the ASL Group fleet, specifically operated by ASL Airlines Belgium, under a lease agreement. The transaction for both aircraft was finalized on August 7.
For freight forwarders and operations managers, this move signifies a consolidation of assets for ASL Aviation Holdings. Owning these aircraft outright, rather than leasing, could provide ASL with greater operational flexibility and potentially more stable capacity offerings in the long term.
