ADNOC Logistics & Services (ADNOC L&S) has exercised options to acquire two new liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers from Jiangnan Shipyard in Shanghai, China. This latest order is valued at $444 million, with both vessels scheduled for delivery in 2029. Each carrier will have a capacity of 175,000 cubic meters.
This acquisition is part of a broader investment strategy by ADNOC L&S, which has committed approximately $2.7 billion to vessel acquisitions and newbuilds in 2026 alone. The company's LNG carrier fleet will now comprise 24 vessels, including four older models and six next-generation carriers that have been delivered since 2026.
