TEN Ltd. (Tsakos Energy Navigation) has announced the successful delivery and naming of its newest vessel, the 'Anfield DP'. This DP2 suezmax shuttle tanker was constructed by Samsung Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. in South Korea. The 'Anfield DP' represents the third vessel in a series of twelve identical DP2 shuttle tankers currently being built at the same shipyard.
Upon its delivery, the 'Anfield DP' is scheduled to commence a 10-year employment contract with a prominent US oil major. This contract includes options for further extensions, indicating a long-term commitment for the vessel's operations.
