The Port of Trelleborg, a key maritime hub in Sweden, is moving forward with its strategic relocation and expansion plans by initiating a substantial reconstruction project. Skanska has been contracted to convert a 250-meter section of the port's existing 500-meter commercial quay into a specialized roll-on/roll-off (ro-ro) berth. This new facility will be equipped with five side fenders and a bulb fender, specifically designed to accommodate modern freight-focused vessels and streamline loading and unloading operations.
