Nick Potter, who serves as President and CEO of AET and is the former Chairman of the Oil Companies International Marine Forum (OCIMF), has been appointed as co-chair of the Clean Energy Marine Hubs (CEM-HUBS) Steering Committee. He will share this leadership role with Paula Vieira, Director General of Environmental Policy at Transport Canada. Additionally, Potter will chair the CEM-HUBS Private Sector Group.
CEM-HUBS is a collaborative public-private platform designed to mitigate risks associated with investments in the production of low- and zero-emission fuels. The primary goal is to facilitate the development and adoption of these cleaner fuels for use and transportation within the maritime sector. The initiative includes key representatives from organizations such as the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS) and the International Association of Ports.
