Mexico's second liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facility, Energia Costa Azul, successfully dispatched its initial cargo from Phase 1 of the terminal on July 8. This marks a significant milestone for the project developer and for Mexico's energy export capabilities. The new facility adds 0.4 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d) of nominal export capacity from a single processing train, effectively tripling the country's total LNG export volume.
