Spanish project logistics firm Laso Lasarte Wind (LLW) has successfully concluded the transport phase for a significant wind farm development in Morocco. The operation involved the delivery of 121 complete wind turbines to the Aftissat facility, located in the southern Boujdour province. This comprehensive logistics effort encompassed the movement of all critical components, such as turbine blades, tower sections, and nacelles.
For freight forwarders and logistics professionals, this project highlights the specialized capabilities required for large-scale renewable energy infrastructure. Such operations demand meticulous planning for oversized cargo, including route surveys, permits, and specialized equipment for inland transport. The successful completion of this project demonstrates robust project cargo management and execution in challenging environments, ensuring timely delivery of critical components for energy sector clients.
