Veritas Petroleum Services (VPS) has officially unveiled a new webshop module for its existing VeriSphere digital platform. This new online portal is designed to give customers direct, self-service capabilities, allowing them to access VPS's expanding range of products and services. These offerings include various digital applications, Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), and essential sampling equipment, facilitating more efficient and adaptable interactions with VPS's global service portfolio.
First introduced in October of the previous year, the VeriSphere platform has also seen an expansion of its functionalities alongside the webshop launch. New applications, such as 'MySurveys,' have been integrated to further support bunker-related operations.
For freight forwarders and operations managers, this development signifies improved accessibility and potentially faster turnaround times for marine fuel quality assurance. The self-service model could streamline the process of ordering testing services and accessing results, which is crucial for maintaining vessel schedules and preventing fuel-related operational issues. Enhanced digital tools and APIs could also facilitate better integration of fuel testing data into broader supply chain management systems, offering greater transparency and control over bunker quality, ultimately mitigating risks associated with fuel procurement and usage.
