KEZAD Group has unveiled plans for a new Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) Hub in Abu Dhabi, representing an investment of AED 112 million. The facility, spanning 25,260 square meters, is strategically located within KEZAD A (Al Ma’mourah) and is designed to provide essential infrastructure and support for SMEs looking to establish or expand their presence in the region.
This development underscores Abu Dhabi's commitment to fostering economic growth and diversifying its industrial base by empowering smaller businesses. The hub will likely offer a range of services and facilities tailored to the needs of SMEs, potentially including warehousing, light industrial units, and administrative spaces, alongside access to KEZAD's broader logistics and industrial ecosystem.
For freight forwarders and logistics professionals, this new SME hub signifies potential growth in cargo volumes and increased demand for logistics services within Abu Dhabi. As more SMEs set up operations, there will be a greater need for warehousing, distribution, and transportation solutions, both domestically and internationally. This could lead to new business opportunities for forwarders specializing in last-mile delivery, e-commerce logistics, and supply chain management for smaller clients. It also reinforces Abu Dhabi's position as a regional trade and logistics center, potentially streamlining customs processes and improving connectivity for businesses operating from this hub.
