The Global Project Logistics Network (GPLN) successfully hosted its 21st Annual General Meeting (AGM) from June 12-14 at the Hilton Rotterdam Hotel. The event attracted more than 120 delegates, providing a platform for members to engage in two days of dedicated one-to-one meetings. A highlight of the AGM was a BBQ dinner held at the warehouse of Tiel Logistics, a Dutch member company, situated near the Waal River.
This annual gathering is crucial for project logistics forwarders as it facilitates direct interaction and strengthens partnerships within the specialized heavy-lift and project cargo sector. Such networking events are vital for coordinating complex global shipments, sharing best practices, and identifying new business opportunities. For freight forwarders and operations managers, these meetings can lead to enhanced service capabilities, improved routing options, and more reliable execution of oversized and project cargo movements.
