The EU Cross-Border e-commerce Forum (EU CBEC) 2026 is set to be held in Liège in September 2026, with Liege Airport and CARGOLAND serving as hosts. This edition is projected to be the largest to date, expecting more than 1,000 participants, including representatives from airlines, freight forwarding companies, shippers, and industry media outlets. The event will span three days, featuring a comprehensive agenda that includes 17 expert panel discussions and presentations from 53 speakers, all focused on critical themes within the cross-border e-commerce sector.
For freight forwarders and operations managers, this event offers a valuable opportunity to network and gain insights into the evolving landscape of cross-border e-commerce. Discussions on key themes could influence future operational strategies, technology adoption, and regulatory compliance, particularly concerning air cargo and last-mile delivery for e-commerce shipments. Understanding emerging trends and challenges presented by industry experts can help forwarders anticipate changes in demand, optimize routing, and adapt their service offerings to better support e-commerce clients.
